La casa de Bašta

I slept incredibly peacefully here, and it really did feel homey. The apartment is spacious, with two very large double beds in separate bedrooms, so it works well for two couples and sleeps four. It was quiet despite being close to the downtown pedestrian area, with shops and cafes nearby. The cafes serve food, and the local bakery has homemade meals. The food we tried was tasty and came in generous portions. The air felt clean and fresh, with no noticeable pollution. The price was very affordable. The apartment is on the second floor and can only be reached by stairs, though they are well spaced and have a handrail the whole way. That could be difficult for anyone with trouble walking. The place was clean and well equipped, with nice art on the walls, cable TV, air conditioning, a shower, toiletries, and insect screens on the windows and balcony door. Smoking isn't allowed inside, but there's a small, easy-to-reach balcony with an ashtray and even a working lighter in a holder. Parking beside the apartment is paid, and the owner provided parking tickets.
