Balkan Hotel Garni

The rooms were clean and quite decent, the staff very friendly, and the location excellent. The hotel itself is good. Parking is limited to just three spaces. Our room also had a step right before the bathroom, in a narrow passage between the bed and wall. It was really uncomfortable and painful to keep stepping over. 😡

This was my third stay, and everyone has been so kind and welcoming each time. The reception team, kitchen staff, and housekeeping are all doing a great job. Keep it up, you’re a lovely team! I’m looking forward to visiting again soon. Regards, The Pisani family 🇲🇹🇲🇹🇲🇹🙂☺️

The room looked nice, and the staff were really friendly. As a place to stop for a quick shower and sleep when you're exhausted on the road, it could do the job. But the setup feels more like a section of an old business center than what I picture as a hotel. Parking costs a lot, has to be booked, and the space is so tight between other cars that you can't get out of your car. The elevator wasn't working, breakfast was very poor, and the night felt more like something to get through than a chance to relax. I also paid more than I had at better hotels in Beograd.

The only good part of our stay was breakfast. The room was freezing, around 15-18 degrees, because the windows wouldn't shut properly and the city noise and cold came straight in. The shower was dirty and mouldy, and its drain was blocked. We could hear every word from the next room, with no sound insulation, and there was a dog in that room at night. We were assigned a room with a large uncle. I showed the receptionist the problems, and he brought an oil radiator. At 21 hours, they said there wasn't another room and that we could go look for another hotel if we wanted. Ridiculous place. Please avoid this "hotel" if you want to have a good time. I've never stayed somewhere with such a high score and had this experience.
