At the dance festival hosted here, the smaller rooms had no air conditioning or ventilation. It was 28 Celsius outside during the day and around 35 inside. The toilets had no working lights. I’ve never seen a venue ban people from bringing their own water to a dance festival, then charge 250 RSD for a 0.5l bottle at the evening parties. The staff were extremely rude as well.

We had a river-facing room, and the view was amazing. The shower was the best part of the hotel, really comfortable, and the staff treated us well. We ate and drank there without any trouble. Still, the place feels depressing and poorly maintained. The hotel is old and looks unappealing at first, and rooms facing away from the river just look out onto stagnant water, scrub, and the street. There were huge numbers of spiders outside our dirty window, hundreds of them. During our stay, workers made a lot of noise fixing the next room. Worse, one of them threw piles of wood and cardboard straight into the river. I couldn't ignore it, so I complained at reception. It’s upsetting to think this might be normal there.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast had a good range of choices. Our room had air conditioning and warm water, though the bathroom drain smelled. We were in the cheapest room, which was small but tidy, and had to kill around 15 mosquitoes because the window had been left open. Bring repellent if you plan to use the outdoor pool bar in the evening. We stayed two nights. It was our first time sleeping on a boat, and at that price the experience was worth it, and pretty interesting.

We slept well, but I wouldn't stay here again. There were spiders in the corners of our room, which made it unpleasant. The staff are there around the clock and did their best to find us another room, but none were free. We saw lots of spiders along the outside edges of the window glass, so we think they may have got in when someone left the window open earlier.
