The hostel is in a lovely, quiet part of old Zemun, close to the old church. Quiet streets lead to Glavna street, with shops and the house of Opera, and you can stop for coffee at one of the many cafes. The Danube is also a pleasant walk away, and there are plenty of bus stops. It's a peaceful house with flowers on the roof and a nice view of the old houses or the inner garden. The staff are great, friendly, polite, and discreet. Rooms are on two floors and very clean. They have cosy beds, basic kitchen facilities, cable, clean bathrooms with no water problems, and satisfying bed sheets, towels, and night dressers. It's a good place to sleep, or to spend the whole day resting. The service runs 24 hours, and the approach is easygoing, with no rush to leave right away, especially when it's not crowded. The host Aleksandar was always available and helpful, and the hostel seems suited to both short and long stays. It's on a quiet street near the center of Zemun, with everything close once you step outside. The room is tidy and functional, with a large window for daylight and blinds for privacy. The bed is comfortable and long enough for a taller person, and there's storage in both a closet and chest of drawers. The private bathroom is clean, though its small sink isn't very practical for washing. It does meet everyday needs. The air conditioning and TV both worked. There's a shared kitchen and dining room. I only missed having a microwave or toaster/oven to heat or prepare food. All praise.

Ruler feels warm and welcoming, and the price is very reasonable. It’s in a quiet part of central Zemun, with public transport stops close by. The host was very kind, and the shared space is pleasant, with a well-stocked kitchen that even has some groceries and drinks. My room was clean, nicely decorated, and well equipped, though I did miss having a large mirror. The bathroom is small but works fine.
