The price was far too high for what we got. The mattresses were worn, with wires sticking out, and the broken headboard was made of several pieces. The bed creaked horribly, so getting a good night’s sleep wasn’t possible. Sheets and towels were old and didn’t feel fresh. The tap was rusty and hard to use, the toilet hadn’t been fully cleaned, and there was nowhere proper to hang clothes. Earlier guests had complained about these problems too, but it doesn’t seem the owners fixed anything. This place is a disgrace for Booking and for Belgrade.

The location was okay, but the rooms and service were a disaster. Everything was dirty, and you could hear everything. When I pointed out that the bedspread was dirty, they told me to put a sheet over it. It was hot, and the response was to turn on the air conditioning. Really bad.

The staff were great once you managed to find them, and for one night the place was bearable. Still, the building was being renovated and I found things confusing. I got woken by shouting in the hallway at night, and the nearby highway meant hearing traffic.
