Hyatt Regency Belgrade

The spa was a real highlight, with one of the best massages I had in 2025, even compared with Bali, Sweden, and Thailand. We also loved the dining and cocktails; the chefs, wait staff, and bar team were excellent. Indoor smoking took some getting used to, but it's part of local culture. I didn't use the gym, though its equipment looked unusually high quality. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Belgrade over New Year's Eve, my final trip of 2025, with my wife and another couple who are close friends. The hotel was clearly very busy, but service stayed excellent throughout. The doormen were welcoming and helpful, and reception managed the rush with patience and professionalism. Strahinja in the Club Lounge stood out most. He was warm and efficient, and made things personal for all four of us. He even helped us find last-minute NYE tickets nearby, which we really appreciated. His language skills, cultural knowledge, and enthusiasm for people made a lasting impression. In my first year with Hyatt, he's one of the best people I've met representing the brand. The rooms are starting to show their age, but the staff and overall experience made this one of my top five stays of the year. Hyatt has also recognized my loyalty more consistently across properties than other chains I've used, and this hotel was a great example.

The staff were extremely nice and attentive. The location is convenient, with a mall within walking distance. The hotel is huge and nicely decorated, with a spa, a gym that's better than average for a hotel, a couple of restaurants, and even a beauty place.

I've stayed at many hotels in this category on frequent business and leisure trips to the city, and Hyatt Regency is my top choice in Belgrade. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings, which makes a real difference to comfort. Service is what sets it apart, starting as soon as you walk in. The concierge team is welcoming and proactive, and reception is professional and efficient. Breakfast is outstanding, with great quality and a surprisingly wide selection, and it's absolutely not to be missed. The dining is consistently excellent too, including room service and both restaurants. Highly recommended.
