New Belgrade Premium Hotel

The hotel is clearly new and the breakfast was good, but the service was so poor that we won’t be coming back. Here’s what happened. Although the hotel seemed empty, we got a room facing dogs on leashes. They were barking, and it was honestly sad to see. The other side had a better view and appeared to have empty rooms, judging by the lack of lights and the fact that there was literally only one other person at breakfast. There was a spider in the bed, and the bathroom smelled like sewage. We also only had one bathrobe for two people, so we had to ask for another. The safe didn’t work, and we waited 30 minutes for someone to fix it. Then I was blamed for changing the password, even though it uses a one-time password that resets whenever it’s opened. The battery was probably running low. At breakfast, nobody asked us if we wanted tea or coffee, while the person next to us was asked straight away. You can’t serve yourself. The sauna was out of order too. When I raised all this with someone at reception, he said he’d speak to a manager and call our room, but no call ever came. He said the sauna had broken the day before, though reviews had mentioned it being broken two months earlier. He said it would be fixed the next day at 5 pm, even though we had to leave at 12 pm. And water is paid, there’s no free water.
