Vila Apolo

The reception woman was attentive throughout, checking whether breakfast was good and responding quickly to requests. Breakfast was substantial, with hot toast, sausage, ham, cheese, fruit jelly, melted cheese, pate, juice, and tea or coffee. They even served natural honey. My room was clean and had the basics I needed: bed, air conditioning, table, chair, WC, separate bathroom, lamp, hairdryer, and a socket beside the bed. There was a TV, though I didn't use it, so I can't say if it worked. I had read complaints about slow internet. The first network was weak for me too, but after switching to one with 5G in its name, I got 140 Mbit / sec. When I stayed in mid July 2023, there were only 1-2 other guests. I suspect the hotel's location affects how much traffic it gets. It's in Zemun, not especially convenient if you want to be near the banks of the Danube and Sava. Public transport to the city centre runs regularly, and the closest stop is about a 5 minute walk away. Still, after active days walking around Belgrade, Vila Apolo Hotel was a very good place to rest. I'd rate the service and facilities 12/10, and the location 6/10. I'll definitely stay at Vila Apolo again next time I'm in Belgrade.

I was so grateful for the hospitality at Vila Apolo. The staff were wonderful, especially the man at reception, who was very accommodating even when I asked to check in at 5am. I can't fault the stay. Thank you!

The rooms are spacious and nice, though breakfast wasn't that good.

Great service, and the place was clean and nicely priced.
