We booked the 110m² villa and arrived to find the bed without sheets and hairs on it. The bathroom smelled of sewage, and the tub door was broken. Upstairs, there’s a hole in the room, so it doesn’t function as a second room and it’s very cold. The petrol heaters barely get warm, and the owner said that was as hot as they could go. To warm the place with the second, electric heater, you have to close the door to the first room. We waited outside in the cold for half an hour. After that, the owner remembered there was a key outside the house and came shortly afterward. The last picture shows the cold, open second room upstairs.

The apartment is large, with two rooms and two bathrooms, and has a great view over the Danube. The mattresses were a bit hard, so we didn’t sleep very well, and the water pressure was very low.

The hosts were so warm and welcoming, and the service was really good. The house was spotless, tastefully decorated, and tucked away in a quiet part of the city. ♡

The apartment was right in the heart of Zemun, next to the Tower Garos, and was comfortable and very clean. The hosts were polite, too. Felt like good value for every penny 👌👌👌
