Wimbledon Garni Concept

My husband, brother and I were very happy with the owners’ kindness and hospitality. It’s a lovely place, and you can feel at home there. We’ll stay here again next time we’re in Belgrade.

I overslept by accident because the bed was so firm and the pillow so soft. The rooms are warm and relaxing, and the little hotel is clean with a nice design. The owners were helpful with advice and directions. I’d definitely recommend asking them for help while you’re in the city.

The staff were VERY friendly and helpful, which alone is a good reason to book here. I was in Belgrade on business and needed parking near an office, so I picked the hotel more or less at random. It turned out to be close to the highway, but far enough away that I couldn’t hear it. The semi self-service breakfast had a decent range of cheeses, pates, salamis, fruit, cereal and jams. Staff prepared the drinks, including coffee, tea and juice. My room was large for a 4* hotel and recently renovated. It had a big closet, table, two separate beds and a couch, so it could work for a family too. There was air conditioning, an LCD TV and a mini bar, along with slippers, plenty of towels and shampoo. The lighting could be better: there was LED light under the bed and bedside lamps, but to brighten the whole room I had to turn each lamp on separately. The shower was large, though the space between the toilet and sink was tight.

There are only five rooms, and it feels like a home. The breakfast is pretty good, and the reception staff are helpful, always ready with ideas for places to visit or local restaurants to try. I’ve stayed twice already, and I’d have no hesitation about staying again at I Wimbledon Garni hotel when I’m back in Belgrade.
