Hotel Djerdap

The Danube view is beautiful, and watching the sunset there feels really heartwarming. I slept well in a comfortable bed, and the clean rooms have a TV, air conditioning, and lots of other things. The service was good too. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re coming to Kladovo.

We booked for two weeks but checked out after just two nights. We wouldn’t recommend this hotel to families, especially those with young children. The customer care and hygiene were appalling: the room wasn’t cleaned during our stay, and neither the washroom nor the bedsheets were changed for the whole two weeks. The toilet was blocked, the bathroom wasn’t hygienic, and the TV remote didn’t work. Our balcony was useless, dirty, cobwebbed, with a rusty rail. Breakfast had little choice, and with one server for the whole room there were long delays, dirty tables, and not enough cutlery. We reported everything to reception and were met with arrogance and poor customer care. Very disappointing.

Right on the coast with a view over the river, yet only a few minutes' walk from the town center, the location is the best in town. The hotel has a genuine 80s feel, since that’s when it was designed and built. Rooms are clean, beds very comfortable, and the view is lovely. Breakfast is excellent, and the restaurant serves good food and coffee. For the price, you probably won’t find a better deal in this part of the country.

Very professional service, modern design, and the best view of the Danube. The food is the best in Kladovo. Highly recommended.
