The spa is small, but still has three kinds of sauna, a small swimming pool and a little hot pool, which we enjoyed. Breakfast was enough for an active ski holiday, though there was mold on one traditional cheesecake. I left it alone and chose eggs and vegetables instead. The coffee was good, too. Our room was decent, if a bit cramped, and there was nowhere to dry gloves or helmets after skiing. The windows are so poor that you can feel the wind indoors even when they’re shut. The room door also seemed to have a mind of its own. Cleaning was basically absent apart from fresh towels, though you can ask for a mop and clean it yourself. The hotel has its own parking, which is handy, but sometimes staff block your car and you can be waiting 10-15 minutes in the morning to head out skiing.

There’s plenty of parking, and the breakfast is generous and served until 10:30, a welcome thing if you don’t feel like getting up early. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the small spa has all the basic facilities. Getting to the ski slopes means driving, since there’s no bus or shuttle. Dinner is served in a narrow time window at 20:00, which can be awkward if you’re still using the spa then.

The hammam, sauna and salt room were excellent. I only came to use the spa, though changing in the women’s locker room was awkward because there was so little space and puddles from the shower on the floor. I also couldn’t tell whether the jacuzzi was on or how to switch it on.

We stayed for five nights and wouldn’t come back. The rooms were spacious and warm, the beds comfortable, and the bathroom roomy. That was the only good part of the stay. In the restaurant, service fell short and the food wasn’t great. Prices also seemed high to me: wine was over 27.00-28.00 euros a bottle, and an espresso was around 4.00 euros. The pool was deep and cold, so not suitable for kids. There was a warmer, jacuzzi-style pool beside the sauna and steam room, but children weren’t allowed in it. Many of its jets didn’t work, and I couldn’t even tell if it was meant to be a jacuzzi or just a pool. Nobody came to change our towels or linen during the stay. There was no sign to hang on the door asking for cleaning, so we went to reception just to ask them to take out the trash. The room wasn’t swept or vacuumed. On the few occasions the maid came in, she only put out the bins. The bathroom dispenser for shower gel or shampoo didn’t work, and for this kind of hotel I think separate shower gel and shampoo should be provided.
