The visitor limit means you need to call around two hours ahead. The sauna and spa are beautiful, kept in great shape, and feel upscale without costing too much.

Set among trees on a hill, the place feels like an oasis, and parking is available. The restaurant serves tasty food in large portions at reasonable prices. Staff are warm and happy to answer questions, and the rooms are well equipped and looked after.
The Christmas decorations outside and playlist in the restaurant made the place feel festive, which we loved. We stayed two days at Grad Hotel and Spa and had a really pleasant time. The staff were friendly and helpful, including when we called to have the jacuzzi heating turned off after they had warned us it could be noisy. Even with an event happening downstairs in the hall, we couldn’t hear it in our well soundproofed room.
Kovin is a small town, with Smederevo, a city of about 60,000 people, only 10 km away. We had a quiet weekend and a very good spa experience. Breakfast was perfect, the rooms were clean and cosy, and the staff were wonderful.
I found Hotel & Spa Grad in Serbia okay as a stopover, though there isn’t much to see or do nearby and the location didn’t stand out. The rooms were comfortable enough, but an unpleasant smell meant I had to switch rooms twice, which made the stay less enjoyable. The restaurant portions were generous and the food was good overall, but the oven-baked ribs arrived cold, which was disappointing. I’d rate the experience 3 out of 5.
