Industrial 1853

We left feeling misled and unsafe. The room was left with a soaking wet floor after cleaning and no warning sign, which felt especially dangerous with children around. Staff seemed disorganized and poorly trained: tables and menus got mixed up, information conflicted, and customer service was lacking. We asked three times not to be put in an attic (podkrovlje) room, but got one anyway. The hotel also doesn't disclose the active industrial plant next door, which pollutes the air. That made it unsuitable for me while pregnant, or for children. The listed “patio” wasn't there, and the fireplace didn't work, though that wasn't mentioned either. Half-board was disappointing too. There was no menu ahead of time, the food was poor and repetitive, and children's meals weren't included. We had to ask at every meal. One of the most unpleasant hotel stays we've had. I'd avoid it, especially if pregnant or travelling with children.

The rooms are spacious and the bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly, and breakfast had good options for the region. Parking is usually available, though sometimes you may have to walk a little.

The spa, gym, Turkish bath, and sauna were a great way to unwind, and the food was excellent, with plenty of variety. Hotel Industrial 1853 also has a distinctive industrial-chic look that mixes modern comfort with historic character. My room was clean, carefully laid out, and had comfortable bedding and all the amenities I needed. From arrival on, the staff were welcoming, attentive, and professional. The atmosphere felt calm, elegant, and inspiring. I had a wonderful stay, whether for business or leisure, and would recommend it to anyone after a refined, comfortable place. Looking forward to coming back!
