Olivera is a very relaxed, friendly host. She greeted me with coffee, and enjoys a chat. Since she doesn't speak English, talking with her is a good chance to practice your Serbian, which I appreciated. The Kafana and Hostel "Olimpik" feels welcoming. The six-bed room is basic but fine, quiet at night, with great mattresses and a spacious bathroom with a shower. The Café/Bar has air conditioning, but the hostel rooms don't. There are no mosquito screens on the windows, unfortunately.

I was basically just here to sleep. The host is friendly, though they don't speak English. Being close to supermarkets and the city center is handy.

We continued the next day after breakfast, riding 180 km to Oryahovo. The night before, on July 9, 2013, we were on the Danube Cycle Path, Stage 157 km from Dobra - Iron Gates - Kladovo - Negotin. After looking around for accommodation, we found a spot at the Kafana Olimpic Hostel in central Negotin. We enjoyed the town and our stay there. Highly recommended.
