Easy Hostel

I left for another hostel rather than try to extend my stay. The other people involved were good, but that doesn't make up for what happened. The woman who owns the building and apparently has little to do with running the hostel came to my door twice in four days, shouting nasty, vicious things at me in French. She pounded on the door, barged in, and called me messy among other things. I understand a little French, and she made no effort to speak or understand any other language, as if French were common here. It was baffling. I had paid them more than most people in the city earn for a full day of hard work, just to have a room and some peace and quiet. There was no room service or anything else. This place was a nightmare.
