Flow House Hostel

Avoid this place. I had a reservation, but when I arrived in the middle of the afternoon, the hostel was locked and nobody was at reception. No one answered the phone or replied to my email. I waited and tried to get through for two hours without any luck. It was a real shame to lose that time during my 24 hours in Novi Sad.

A great place for a low price.

The bedrooms were cozy, warm in winter, and well-heated, and the internet was good. The public areas were clean, the staff were pleasant and friendly, and there was a locker with a key. The hostel is centrally located, with affordable city parking across the street. The common areas were less cozy. The kitchen had what we needed, but its stovetop was tiny and awkwardly placed, so cooking wasn't comfortable. Only one of the two showers had a working boiler. We booked a room for four but were assigned one with six beds. They said selecting a room on Booking.com was a formality and the price was the same, so guests were placed as they arrived. They tried to keep groups together, while solo travelers were assigned available beds. The dorms are mixed; my husband and I shared ours with three other guys.

A great hostel right in the city center.
