Holiday Inn Novi Sad

We had two connecting rooms on a high floor, with great views of the landscape around us. The stay was very pleasant, the service impeccable, and it felt family friendly. It’s about 10 minutes from downtown, with all the main places still easy to reach.

The hotel staff were kind, friendly, and helpful. My single room for four nights was spacious, modern, and stylish. In autumn, the centrally controlled AC was set to heat, and it made both my room and the shared areas uncomfortably warm. The neighborhood is walkable and has several shops, though there isn’t much impressive to see or do. The hotel’s gym, bar-restaurant, and spa are lovely spaces and well worth a visit.

The towels were really dirty and even smelled like urine. We ordered water, waited 30 minutes, and nothing came. Did they forget about us? The furniture in the coffee corner is damaged too. Is this what you’d expect in a luxury hotel?

The luxury here is quiet and attentive, without any showing off. Sometimes the staff feel more like discreet personal attendants than waiters or receptionists. They handle requests quickly and efficiently. I’d definitely stay here when visiting Novi Sad.
