We had four buses and more than 200 people there, but all night during New Year we heard only two Bulgarian songs. That doesn’t seem normal to me, especially with the hotel restaurant full of Bulgarian people. I’ll never come back.

The city visit didn’t go that well for me, but the hotel made the experience much better. It feels like a proper four-star place, with each star earned, and has kept its old-school standard over the years. I was especially impressed by the shower: the water pressure was strong and easy to control, which I don’t often find even in pricier hotels. There isn’t much digitalization, but I think that’s part of its character.

There’s a lot of charm and soul to The Novi Sad, with its retro feel and history as a 1979 building, though the rooms have been renovated. I had a comfortable bed, fast WiFi, a minibar, and a lovely view of the busy stations. The staff were friendly and professional, and clearly love their work. There are shops nearby, plus an authentic restaurant with a terrace. The location right in front of the Railway and Bus Station is very convenient.

The atmosphere was peaceful and quiet, the room was very clean, and the location put everything I needed close by. I had a great stay and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable, convenient place.

Really nice, clean hotel, though the breakfast was poor.
