We had a big bug in our room. It was behind the bed, then jumped onto it, and my roommates and I were scared. The food wasn’t bad. It’s a basic hotel or motel in central Valjevo.

The lift wasn’t working, and although my room had an air conditioner installed, it didn’t work. Reception said the same was true for the whole second and third floors. They suggested opening the window if it got hot, but it was 32 C outside. Worst hotel ever.

It may once have been a Grand hotel, but now it’s poorly maintained and anything but grand. The bathroom is dark and old, and the general upkeep looks bad. The staff are friendly, but I’d avoid the place.

Just seconds from the city center, so the location is great. A good place to stay for a few days while you’re in town.

Filthy, dirty hotel. It ought to be closed and boarded up, and health authorities should shut it down. Don’t sleep or eat here.
