Vila Dincic

I make a point of coming every year around Christmas and New Year. The villa-hotel is close to Silver Lake in Veliko Gradiste, with comfortable rooms and kind, welcoming hosts. And don't miss their restaurant Dincic. A must visit! 🍾❤

The owner insisted we pay the full room price, and we left very disappointed, especially by his attitude. We had left our luggage in the room and gone to dinner, then spent time visiting the lake before coming back. That's when I found there was no soap, yellow grime in the shower, hair all over the dirty floor, and stained, reddish bedsheets. They blamed the washer or dryer. The receptionist, who turned out to be the owner, argued with us and smugly said we'd been in the room for three hours. We had been out for those three hours, and hadn't checked the room earlier, so we hadn't noticed the dirt that wasn't obvious at first. The place looked great on arrival, but after seeing the room, I couldn't stay or sleep there.

The villa has a nice design and the location is quiet. Staff were very helpful, especially the night shift, though the rooms weren't as clean as they should have been and the shower cabin had drainage problems. Still, a very good stay overall. I'd rate it 3.5 out of 5.

The rooms were comfortable, but it was hard to feel like coming back when basic things were missing. The door knob was broken, Wi-Fi was mostly unavailable, and there was no soap, shampoo, water, or similar in the room.
