The waiters and the rest of the staff, especially the night shift, were great. Thanks to them, and especially to the Lady at the reception in the evening. The staff deserve a 4, though some are being misdirected and don't have the tools or freedom to do better. Management needs to pay attention to details and run the place better. I had to bring food in from outside because the restaurant didn't have most of what was on the menu. That cost them money and left me upset that I couldn't get a decent meal. The elevator was so loud it woke me at 6 AM, and with poor insulation it would be hard to sleep in a room nearby. My TV also didn't work properly; I was told their IT team is 250 kms away. I couldn't sleep because of the noisy elevator next to my apartment. Even though I raised it and there were empty rooms, nobody offered to move me. The cleaning crew didn't really clean: after two days, the sheets hadn't been changed, and crumbs were left on the table. It makes you wonder how well they disinfect what they say they've cleaned. At check-in I was quoted one price, then charged a different one at checkout. It seemed like a miscommunication between shifts, but they didn't offer to correct it. I regret not booking over booking, since I could have saved money, and felt a little taken advantage of. I'll give it another try soon and see if anything has changed.
