The staff are very friendly, but that’s about the only positive. The non-smoking rooms smell like ashtrays, there’s mould in the shower, and the blanket for the double bed was far too small. Breakfast was included, but the choice was very poor. They didn’t offer water or juice, and coffee cost extra.

The highlight was the professional, kind staff, who were ready to help with anything we needed. Breakfast was a very good buffet with lots of choice, and the place was comfortable and nice to stay in. The internet can be bad sometimes, but that’s a small downside beside the good parts. Highly recommended!

I’m stunned by all the great reviews. The staff are friendly, the surroundings are nice and breakfast was okay, but the hotel itself is horrid. The rooms are small, with dirty walls, dusty carpets and furniture, and old, torn bath towels that were too small. In the dining area, the tablecloths, cutlery and plates were dirty, and smoking was allowed in one section. The double bed had blankets that looked sized for kids’ beds. There was an old hairdryer in the bathroom wrapped in duct tape, probably because it was broken, and only three hangers in a cupboard that looked like they’d been through hell. Just a sad-looking place. It reminded me of the awful motels in movies.

The rooms were clean, breakfast pretty good, and the staff polite and helpful. The centre of town is close by, as is Dino park if you’re travelling with kids. It’s an excellent spot for a quiet, relaxing stay.
