We came just for the restaurant, and it was a pretty horrible experience. The Lakeside pizza had iceberg lettuce instead of rocket, and fresh tomatoes rather than tomatoes baked with the pizza. It was like a salad pizza, completely bizarre. The waiter seemed as if he really didn't want to be there, and the atmosphere felt very strange. I asked for a capricciosa without mushrooms, but he suggested a margarita. It took more than an hour for the food to arrive, and the kids were getting more and more impatient. People were smoking constantly, and there were no windows we could open. The smoking wasn't really the restaurant's fault, but it made things worse.

We ordered takeaway two nights in a row before dining in, and were more than pleased both times. The food is tasty and well seasoned, and the ingredients seem fresh. Portions are neither big nor small. It seems they expect guests to order several dishes rather than just one, though a single meal was enough to satisfy us. The menu has a wide variety of familiar dishes, and the price feels balanced for the quality. We only visited as restaurant guests, so I can't comment on the rooms. Service was fast, and the staff were professional and kind, making the whole experience enjoyable. Both restaurants are wheelchair accessible. The interior looks somewhat warm, if not exactly cozy, and you can relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
