The owners were so helpful and friendly, and the accommodation itself was wonderful.

The town is close by if you want to shop, eat out, or have a walk. Back at the house, it’s easy to relax: it’s beautifully furnished, with a pool and loungers out front. The larger house also has a little sauna and whirlpool. Just cozy and lovely for unwinding.

We were six adults at Wooden Valley House for four nights and five days, and had a fantastic stay. The yard is very nicely arranged, the kitchen especially is better equipped than any house we’ve stayed in, and the rest of the house has everything you could need. It was spotless, and the owner welcomed us and stayed available the whole time. A really good host. Getting into the center takes about five minutes by car, while the house is far enough away to avoid the crowds. One thing to keep in mind for a group of six is the sleeping setup: only one room is fully separate. With four people, there would be enough room and more separation for sleeping. We’ll definitely stay again when we get the chance.

The hosts were kind and very welcoming, and the place had everything we needed. A lovely spot to unwind. We’d happily come back. Highly recommend.
