The spa, mattress, and child-friendly setup were the better parts of our stay. The rest fell well short of what the hotel seems to promise, and it didn't feel worth the price. Our junior suite was dusty when we arrived, and the daily cleaning never dealt with the dust under the bedside tables. Staff were unfriendly or unhelpful most of the time. My emails went unanswered, and when someone finally responded the information was wrong. I called and was promised a reply that never came. The check-in men weren't helpful either, though the women at checkout and the restaurant staff were much nicer. Cleaners also came in one morning without knocking. The food was below average compared with other Serbian four- and five-star holiday hotels, so we preferred eating out. The design and furniture looked better in photos, and even the greenery was cheap plastic, including in bright, accessible areas. Ventilation didn't work unless we opened the windows, despite nighttime temperatures around zero. The room phone was broken, and when we asked for an HDMI cable twice, once in person and once by phone, we still had to go downstairs to get it. In high season, expect long elevator waits, since the lift can't keep up with the rooms spread across eight floors.
