Hotel Vojvodina

We were a group of 90, and the hotel handled us well. Staff paid close attention to what we needed, and every interaction was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were part of our stay, and both were tasty and well prepared. The kitchen also managed some guests' dietary needs without any trouble. Hotel Vojvodina is one I'd recommend if you're travelling to Zrenjanin.

The restaurant and bar team were the one good part of the stay. They were friendly, professional, smiling, and ready to help, and their service was impeccable. The rest of the staff, especially management, could learn from how they treated guests. Management came across as very unprofessional and toxic. Problems often turned into uncomfortable scenes in front of guests instead of being resolved, which was completely inappropriate. At reception, getting by in English was barely possible; trying another language meant needing a dictionary and lots of patience. Staff seemed confused and unprepared, with no real sense of hospitality. The food was often undercooked and tasteless, well below what we expected. Prices felt outrageously high for the quality, and we expected much more from this level of service. The restaurant and bar staff are the only reason I'm giving even one star.

Our room was enormous for two, almost like a two-bedroom apartment, and it had two bathrooms. The view was beautiful, and the location was superb. Service was great, with no complaints. It was a little chilly in the room at the end of September, so we turned down the air conditioning. The breakfast setup wasn't easy to figure out, though there was plenty of variety. You could even take a can of tuna, and we still remember the cherry jam with berries.

The room was quite spacious and comfortable, and there's private parking. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were very kind. The hotel is right in downtown Zrenjanin and offers a lot for the price. They could pay a bit more attention to cleaning.
