We aren't Catholic, but the strong Catholic presence at Blue Veil Villa – Kigali & Kibeho didn't stop us from being welcomed with real warmth and kindness. The staff were attentive, professional, and caring, making sure our needs were met. Our rooms were comfortable, with a striking black, red, and white color scheme. The water was always hot with good pressure, and we had no trouble with mosquitoes. The food was delicious and freshly cooked for us each day. The care and hospitality throughout the stay were outstanding. I highly recommend the villa to anyone visiting Kigali or Kibeho. (photos from Kibeho)

The overall atmosphere was relaxing, and I had a very pleasant stay. Staff were welcoming and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service met my expectations. I'd recommend the hotel to others.

Blue Veil Villa felt like home every day, and choosing it was easily the best part of my first trip to Africa and Kigali, Rwanda. The Rwandan staff were so joyful and welcoming that by checkout I knew everyone by their first name. They were also good at giving me space when I wanted to enjoy the quiet. There are lots of spots around the villa to wander and find some peace. This boutique hotel felt like a rare little gem, and I highly recommend it.

I spent a wonderful week at Blue Veil Villa. The spacious layout made it a pleasure to stay in, and my room had a balcony, air conditioning, and a lovely en-suite. Meals were amazing, all made from scratch in the kitchen. The staff have a way of making you feel like family. I'd happily recommend this boutique hotel for a business trip or a holiday.

There were about 30 of us on pilgrimage in Rwanda in August 2023, and Blue Veil Villa had plenty of places for the group to gather as well as quiet corners for prayer and reflection. I especially enjoyed the rooftop view over Kigali. The dining room felt cozy and beautiful, and the food was delicious. My comfortable room was S John Vianney, near the main entrance. All the rooms are named after saints. Such a beautiful villa, and I'd gladly recommend it.
