High Ground Villa

Such a nice spot, with lush greenery, a lovely aroma, and an amazing view of Kigali. It's in a good location, and the staff are caring with wonderful service.

I loved the peaceful neighborhood and the ambiance at High ground Villa. It was so quiet and serene, just right for a vacation. Jean Claude is a loving, caring host who made staying there an awesome experience. Don't hesitate to stay here.

Jean Claude was always available to help and went out of his way to make things comfortable. My room was upgraded for free because a bigger one was available, and he also dropped me off at a nearby restaurant for dinner at no charge. It had another wonderful city view. The place itself is beautiful, quiet, peaceful, and has great views over the city. I'd recommend it 💯

The hilltop view over the city was amazing, especially at night. High Ground Villas was a great choice from the moment we arrived, with a warm welcome from Jean Claude, the owner and host, and his wonderful family. We booked a double room and he upgraded us to a lovely 3bedroom apartment. The beds were very comfortable, the whole complex was clean inside and out, the showers were hot and powerful, and the staff couldn't do enough. Cynthia the maid was fantastic. Breakfast arrived on time, fresh, and included fruits, avocado, omelette, pancakes, and pain au chocolat. Jean Claude also drove us to a restaurant 10mins away and picked us up twice, saving us a walk or taxi. I can't recommend High Ground Villas enough. Thank you, Jean Claude and family! P.s I didn't mention the views! Amazing hilltop views of the city below. Fantastic at night. P.p.s To any British people reading this, please don't hesitate to book a holiday in Rwanda. The country is fantastic, so clean and orderly, and the people are so warm and kind. We haven't been harassed at all, and nobody has pressured us to buy things or begged. Safety is NOT a concern here, people. I've been to many European country's where I couldn't say the same.
