I enjoyed staying at Igitego Hotel. The place was clean, the staff were friendly, and the service was good.

You can get delicious food here, and the karaoke nights used to be really lively. They’ve stopped because of the COVID measures, which is a shame since I came here often for karaoke. It’s in the neighborhood and used to be a real vibrant spot.

The only good part was breakfast. I had no mosquito net, and the mosquitoes kept me up all night despite insecticide. Getting the sheets changed was slow, as was customer service when I ordered food. There were plumbing problems too. It was a nightmare.

The staff were impressively nice, and the setting was cool. While experiencing Rwanda, I stayed at Igitego Boutique Hotel, not far from the airport. They serve typical Rwanda dishes at affordable prices, and you can cook your own food too. I encourage you to visit and experience it.
