Junior, the manager, was easy to deal with, friendly, approachable, and helpful. The place is quiet and peaceful, with lovely plants and trees, and there are some great art galleries nearby. The neighborhood felt safe and calm. A great spot to unwind.

They even let me stay for most of the day after checkout before my flight. Great location, a hot shower, and an amazing breakfast. Couldn't recommend it more!

We had to change our plans and couldn't stay, but the owner kindly accepted our apology and respected the decision, even with a confirmed booking. That says a lot about his generosity and character. The owner and staff were so welcoming and kind, and the place gave us a real feeling of belonging. I hope he remembers us, as I'd like to stay there next time.

In a quiet, safe neighborhood, this is a beautiful, cozy spot. The service is incredible, and the staff make you feel welcome while still giving you room to yourself. I'd recommend it if you want to avoid hotels but still value good service.

The owner went out of his way to help, getting up very early both mornings to set up breakfast with me and arranging a taxi for my 5am trip. As an American woman traveling on my own, security is always on my mind, and I felt safe the whole time. I had an amazing stay at Salama Village and would highly recommend it to anyone planning to visit Rwanda.
