We booked a 3 bedroom apartment because of the 7.7 star rating, but all the ACs were out of order. One of the three sometimes gave cool air. We arrived at 11am and were told right away to wait until 3 pm. We kept waiting, and they didn’t give us an apartment until nearly 5pm. They gave us a 100 riyal concession per room for the long wait by canceling the booking reservation, which had been free. After the discount, our bill was still above 1500 SR. We weren’t staying for free, so struggling with the AC was frustrating. It felt like they had greedy, unfair intentions.
