Cloud City Hotel

The rooftop terrace is a real plus, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was excellent too. A very good hotel, definitely my choice in Al Baha.

The location is really distinctive, and the rooms were clean, with helpful staff and a great breakfast. Probably one of the top three hotels in AlBaha. There was something odd about the toilet design, though, and I've seen the same thing at other hotels in Albaha.

I stayed in Room 330, and Mr. Mijan looked after the cleaning. He was polite and respectful, with excellent manners, and his care, positive attitude and professionalism made the room more comfortable. Staff this dedicated are rare. Mr. Mijan is a real asset, and I appreciate his work. I'd recommend the hotel for its facilities and especially for the hospitality and service.

Parking was a real challenge, especially at night when it was mostly full. The hotel entrance is among commercial stores, and if you leave your car in the alley between the hotel and the fuel station, getting back to the front means taking an 80 kph road and passing two traffic signals. In the room, the shower curtain looked stained, bathroom grout was black, and the shower sprayed directly onto the toilet seat, so the space felt cramped. The staff at reception and room service were polite, professional, always smiling, and quick to handle requests, usually within five minutes. Breakfast was amazing, with fresh food, lots of choices, cheeses and juices. The croissants were the best I've had at any hotel. It was okay overall.
