Saken Village

The grounds were peaceful, clean, and well cared for, with thoughtful landscaping and a quiet atmosphere that felt good for families. I had a pleasant stay at Saken Village, and the facilities were better than I expected. The staff were professional and helpful throughout. It works well for short visits or longer stays, and feels comfortable and secure in Jubail. Highly recommended.

The rooftop pool, fitness center, and good food at the restaurant made my stay at Saken Village especially enjoyable. My room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, and the friendly, attentive staff made me feel at home. I'd happily recommend it and will definitely come back.

After a tough day of site work, I love having their delicious food, especially the fresh shrimp and seafood soup, my favorite. This is the best accommodation I've chosen in Jubail over the last seven years: clean, very professional, and high standard.

Food at The Club and the Italian restaurant is good and reasonably priced, but they often run out of menu items. Sometimes only about half the listed choices are available, which makes the menus nearly useless. The compound's layout is nice, with two main buildings on opposite sides, each with a pool, gym, restaurant, and recreation areas. The overall place looks clean and inviting, though some villas have visible cracks outside. I'd rate the appearance 4 out of 5. Housekeeping, laundry, and reception staff were especially friendly and helpful during the few years I stayed there, and they went out of their way for me. Maintenance was the recurring problem: dirty water, power cuts, low water pressure, lukewarm so-called hot water, and bugs like gnats, ants, roaches, and geckos kept coming back even after I filed repair requests. At times the service was subpar because problems weren't fixed for good. I had to move twice to meet my needs, but kept running into issues in every apartment. If Saken Village addressed the repeated maintenance issues and cracks in some villas, kept the restaurants stocked most of the time, and updated furniture and appliances in some facilities, it could be one of the top compounds in the Eastern Province.
