Holiday Inn Al Khobar Corniche

Breakfast was great, and I enjoyed every meal I ordered through room service, which I used more than once. The hotel is a bit old, but the hospitality made up for it. Everyone at reception was so friendly, especially Salman and Jamal. Thanks also to Anas for being kind and to Sohail from room service for being so accommodating. I’ll definitely stay here again when I come to Al-Khobar.

The price felt reasonable for the location, service, and amenities. Being near the Corniche was handy for my trip, and the malls and restaurants were only a short drive away. The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout, from reception to housekeeping. Rim bahadur, the housekeeping room boy, did good work. My room and the public areas were generally clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel has a pool, gym, spa, and restaurant. Breakfast had a nice range of choices, and the Wi-Fi was decent most of the time. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, though there are a few things that could be improved.

The staff were welcoming and friendly, but the room had a very unpleasant smell when I walked in. It came from the shower curtain. The place is old and needs major refurbishment, especially the room and bathroom, and I don't think it offers value for money. There was a variety of food at breakfast, but it was tasteless. My colleague, who was traveling with me, got food poisoning. I certainly wouldn't recommend this place, and it isn't a four-star hotel.

Ms. Arlyn was so polite and gave us warm service. The restaurant was clean, and the ambience felt really relaxing. Breakfast didn't have that many choices, but I still enjoyed it.
