The rooms are in terrible condition. There was lint on the sheets and pillowcases, and the water pipe broke, so we couldn't use the washroom. The building is very old and needs proper maintenance.

On the night shift, one Bengali receptionist spoke to us in an extremely rude and unprofessional way. He was disrespectful and, in a proud and insulting manner, even told us to cancel our booking and go to another hotel. That kind of attitude is completely unacceptable in hospitality.

The staff at Barbar Restaurant were very kind, especially kabayan Junar, and the service was excellent.

The beds were fine, and for one night the problems were manageable. But the bathroom water tasted awful, so I couldn't make wudu and had to buy water separately. I also felt pretty sure there was mould on the stinger/bidet. I wouldn't want to stay longer.

There are plenty of markets nearby, plus Pakistani and Indian restaurants, and it's right across from RIFA Hospital. The area is busy and close to the malls, but the building itself is nicely maintained with a pleasant atmosphere. There's also a small play area for kids in the lobby.
