Holiday Inn & Suites Al Khobar by IHG

Breakfast had a decent variety and quality, and the staff were friendly, professional, and quick with requests. At Crowne Plaza Al Khobar, I found the rooms clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The location was convenient for nearby services and attractions, so it seems suitable for either business or leisure. I had a positive stay and would consider coming back to Al Khobar.

The restaurant was packed and loud, and getting to the buffet stations was difficult. Guests were struggling to reach the food, and at times it felt more like a crowded mall food court than a hotel restaurant. The buffet was advertised as open, but staff started clearing dishes before 7:00 PM, even though iftar in Al Khobar is around 5:45 PM and the restaurant was still full. There were lots of different dishes, but the taste and quality were poor. The so-called kids' area was under a staircase with only 2-3 tables for drawing and face painting. A clown blowing a whistle as he walked around made the already noisy room even more uncomfortable. This was the worst iftar I've had since Ramadan began. It felt like the hotel was trying to fit in as many guests as possible because of the high Ramadan demand, and both the service and food suffered. The whole experience was disappointing and badly managed. I wouldn't recommend this buffet to anyone looking for a comfortable, organized Ramadan meal.

We spent 10 nights at Crowne Plaza in Feb 2026, and the nights were incredibly peaceful. The calm vibe helped us sleep deeply every night. Our meals were included, and the food was so good, with reasonable prices, that we never missed one. The restaurants were excellent, and the chefs, manager, and staff were friendly and caring, serving us almost like family. Our room was lovely and cleaned very well, and room service responded quickly. The hotel is beautifully decorated, with plenty of places for photos and videos. We took lots of pictures and made reels. The pools, sauna, steam room, and gyms were spotless, fully working, well staffed, and very well equipped. It's well located, close to malls and shopping complexes, with taxis readily available and a great night view. For this area, it's a 10 out of 10 kind of hotel, and the hotel itself is a tourist attraction. A must-stay. We're very happy we chose it. Bravo.

Inside, the atmosphere is calm and sophisticated, so it suits both business trips and leisure. The rooms were spacious and beautifully designed, with comfortable beds, all the amenities I needed, and excellent cleanliness. The dining was another highlight, with varied, tasty dishes and lovely presentation. Breakfast was especially good, with plenty of fresh choices. What stayed with me most was the welcoming, professional staff. Everyone I met was courteous, attentive, and ready to help with a smile. Their service made the experience feel exceptional from beginning to end.
