I wouldn't recommend Dar Otel Arar. I paid 237 Saudi Riyal in advance through Agoda for a specific room, a connecting setup for my family with one king bed and two twin beds. When we arrived, reception staff said they had no association with Agoda and were rude and unhelpful. Despite my booking confirmation, they showed us three different rooms, none of them matching what I'd booked. They had no connecting keys, and it seemed those rooms might not even exist at the hotel. The rooms we saw were dirty, smelled awful, and had very old furniture. My family couldn't stay there. I asked for a refund because the rooms didn't match the booking, but the staff refused and were harsh about it. The whole exchange wasted an hour of my time. We found a much better place in the same city and were able to enjoy our stay there. To me, this was cheating and misrepresentation by both the hotel and the booking site. It was a horrendous experience, and this is the worst place you could choose to stay.
