Dana Hotel Residences Qassim

The corridors had a pleasant fresh scent, and the artwork gave the place a nice touch. We were four people, each in a separate room, and paid about 280 SAR per person. The rooms felt a little snug but were tidy and had what we needed: a toilet kit, tea and coffee, a mini fridge, TV, and desk. The entrance and decor looked stylish and welcoming, and the hotel is conveniently near Qassim city. Breakfast isn't included, so we'd have needed to go out for both breakfast and dinner. The one-night price seemed high at first, but the room and atmosphere made it feel like decent value. A comfortable choice for a short visit if you want somewhere clean and nicely designed near the city.

I left the area and checked out entirely after being told the next morning that I was in the wrong room. The receptionist on duty the evening of 26 June, 2025 had checked me into it, but his message made it sound as though the mistake was mine. I felt disrespected and disappointed. When I asked for my refund, he told me to come back in person. I explained I couldn't do that and had paid by credit card, so the money should be returned the same way. The hotel confirmed the refund amount in writing, yet they keep delaying it and insisting I collect it physically. That would mean traveling all the way back just to get my money. It seems this receptionist may be acting without oversight, since the situation is so strange. I'll keep pursuing the available options, including a complaint to the local authorities. I also deserve an apology.

The room itself was nothing special, though fairly clean, and the bathroom fittings were already coming apart. The property seemed to use low-quality materials. Finding the room was a hassle because the signs skipped it, even though it was right by the elevator, so I walked to the ends of both corridors. Check-in was far too manual, with staff handing me other people's bookings to check whether one was mine. The garage was filthy, covered in a layer of cement-like dust. Average at best.

Small and cozy, this hotel offers decent service. The staff were kind and very helpful.
