Adagio Jeddah City Center

The room was comfortable and clean, and breakfast was average, with room to improve. My stay was decent, though the room arrangements and reception service could be better. At checkout, I waited quite a while while one staff member dealt with another guest’s check-in. When I asked if anyone else could help, I was dismissively told to wait. Another guest had to point out that someone else should assist. The receptionist then went inside and brought out a colleague who, apparently, had been available all along and completed my checkout. My arrival had also been disappointing. I came late on the first night and, despite booking a king room, was given a room at the end of the corridor with two very small beds and a poor view of the back of the hotel. They said the hotel was full and that it was the only room, but promised to move me the next day. The next day I asked for a king room on a higher floor. They moved me to a king room, but it was still on a lower floor. Again, I was told they were fully booked and had no better options. Apart from that, the room was fine.

The room worked well for me since I spend a lot of time working in it. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. At Adagio Jeddah City Center, the staff were helpful and easy to deal with throughout my stay, and the service stayed good. Breakfast had a decent range and the food was good. A comfortable, dependable place to stay in Jeddah.

The location and breakfast were the bright spots. The hotel is in central Jeddah, with decent walkability and a mart directly opposite where you can get good coffee, snacks, and quick meals. Breakfast had great variety and was genuinely tasty. But that didn’t make up for the room mismatch, poor service, and basic housekeeping problems. I wouldn’t recommend this place for families. I booked a triple room for two adults and two children, expecting the proper sofa bed shown in the Booking.com photos. Instead, we got a small studio with no sofa bed, just a long bench the receptionist insisted was one. The room didn’t match the listing. I had to ask personally for extra pillows and a quilt because the receptionist hadn’t told housekeeping, then explain everything again. After my daughter vomited on the bed, housekeeping handed me a sheet and expected me to change it myself. The in-room washer/dryer was useless too: after more than six hours, the clothes were still wet. Service was poor throughout. The concierge seemed understaffed, with one person managing everyone’s luggage, and I waited over 10 minutes at both check-in and checkout. Departments didn’t communicate well, creating needless hassle. The hotel has potential, but it needs a major overhaul in how it handles rooms, service, and guest support.

The rooms are amazing, and the service has been extraordinary. Mr. Abdulrahman Al Sharif has a special warmth and excellent hospitality, and he’s an asset to Accor Group. Thanks to IBIS & Adagio for making my days happy and memorable 😘❤️😍🥰
