Al Nawras Island Resort

There are too many problems here. They charged me over 4000 SAR per night to upgrade to a Luxury renovated unit, but it was exactly the same as the one I had booked. The furniture looks over 15 years old, like something in a motel, and the unit has no amenities. The private parking is taken over every Monday for the owners' private dinner party. The electricity goes off twice a day. The bedside plugs are connected to the lights, so you can't charge your phone while you sleep. The unit phones don't work at all, and both TVs are around 29 inches. The TV has a channel that works properly. Reception was totally unprofessional, and the trainee didn't know how to check me in. They could hardly give us three small bottles of drinking water.

The prices are far too high for this place. We visit once or twice a year, and I keep hoping the air conditioning in the rooms will work properly, but it's outdated and hasn't. The breakfast isn't worth the cost, and it used to be good at Wadah restaurant. There's also too much chlorine in the pool. You can feel it on your skin.

I’ve been coming here for a long time, and I still love it. It’s close to everything in Jeddah, with a chance to rest, relax, swim, and enjoy a refreshing day by the sea. It's my favorite place.
