The apartments are spacious and nice, and the AC worked really well. There’s a grocery and local restaurants close by. We had a hiccup at first and it got sorted out, though it took longer than it should have. I asked for towels several times but was given only one.
I’d avoid this place. The reception staff were rude and unprofessional, and showed no respect or concern for guests. They had confirmed at 2:00 PM that I could check in, but when I arrived as planned at 2:30 PM, they refused and kept me waiting until 5:00 PM.
The room was the main problem: it smelled, wasn’t clean, and was poorly organized. The bathroom gets 2/10, with the hot water earning those two points. The location was alright, and the receptionist gave great customer service.
In Jeddah’s Al Manar, this is a nice hotel at an affordable price. The room service was good, and the environment was clean.
A useful feature in this kind of accommodation is the back entrance from the parking area, which leads straight to the elevator and room without passing the reception desk’s monitoring.
