Crowne Plaza Jeddah Al Salam by IHG

The staff made the stay especially good, from the people who brought our bags up to the room attendants and reception team. I’m a Hilton diamond member and found this one of my best hotel stays. We were in Jeddah for just one night while traveling from Bahrain to London, and wanted somewhere clean, welcoming, and close to the airport. This place fit perfectly. I’d book here again if I needed to stay in the area.

The chefs were wonderful, and the food and warm welcome made us feel at home. I’ve eaten breakfast at plenty of hotels, but nothing has come close to this. The breakfast had amazing quality and variety, and the service was five-star. Shawkat, Shinto, Joel, and the reception lady who helps guide guests to their tables deserve special thanks. The staff responded straight away whenever we needed anything. Thank you all for the hospitality and food service 🫶❤️

Our guests enjoyed both the meal and the event, and several thanked me for choosing Crowne Plaza Salama. The credit really belongs to the team. We held my company's anniversary at an outdoor camp about an hour and a half from Jeddah, and Crowne Plaza provided catering there. As the person handling planning and quality for an international company, I needed everything to meet a high standard, and they went beyond what I expected. The camp setup was elegant and well organized, ready before we arrived. Lunch and dinner came out hot, on time, and beautifully presented. There was a wide selection of delicious food, freshly prepared on site, including live cooking for mashawi and grilled items. The chef and catering manager stayed throughout to keep things running smoothly. Mr. Ahmed Qahtani, the HR Manager, also kept in touch directly and coordinated professionally to make sure each step matched my requests. I’d recommend them for quality catering and support, including events away from the hotel.

Prince Sultan Street is nearby, with plenty of restaurants, cafés, and services, and other parts of Jeddah are within easy reach. I’d gladly stay here again when I’m in the city, though someone set on a sea view may want a different property. We came as a family for a few nights. It was my second stay, after visiting a few years ago when the hotel first opened, and we were happy with it. The hotel feels bright and welcoming. They serve Saudi coffee and detox water in the lobby, a nice touch. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a king bed, closet, sofa area, and an L-shaped desk that worked well while I got some tasks done. There was a walk-in shower and a separate toilet. Biscuits and fruit were waiting for us, too. The cleaning staff we met were consistently friendly. Mr. Abdullah made a real difference from the start. He greeted us warmly, helped us switch rooms when we weren’t quite comfortable, and arranged a complimentary breakfast buffet for one day on the hotel’s behalf. We really appreciated his care and the high standard of Saudi hospitality he showed. Breakfast was very good, with lots of hot and cold choices, freshly cooked eggs, tagines, and more. The lobby coffee was great as well.
