Fahad A.
We ended up fleeing with our infant and standing outside in the dark, trying desperately to find somewhere else to spend the night. It was deeply traumatic. The room had no WiFi, soap, or towels, the blinds were broken and left us exposed to the street, and loose live wires were hanging out. The drains were blocked with foul-smelling water, and bed bugs crawled over the mattress and walls. There was filth everywhere. Reception treated us with open hostility, and the host said nothing when we begged for help. We reported it to the local authorities, but they shrugged it off, and the place is still operating. This is a tourist trap and a public health crisis, with criminal negligence that puts lives at risk and can ruin families’ vacations. Stay far away if you value your life, your child’s safety, and basic human dignity.
