The two bedroom apartment was spacious and the beds were decent, which worked for us since we only went back to sleep. We booked it for the cheap price and proximity to the Jeddah corniche circuit during the Grand Prix weekend, and were willing to overlook the dated decor and furniture and missing amenities like an electric kettle and towels. Coffee places and takeaway restaurants are within walking distance. The comfortable beds and price for three nights on the Grand prix weekend made it good enough for our needs. I gave it four stars largely because of the price for a GP weekend. If you want up to date facilities, look elsewhere.

We were tired after coming back from Makkah and didn’t have another option, so we paid the new amount they demanded. They said our booking wasn’t available, and the receptionist was rude, saying we had to pay more than the booking price or leave. The bell boy pushed us to tip him too. There was no mineral water included, and we had to pay extra for it. They had no towels, and when we asked, they handed over a little one like a kitchen towel. Not recommended at all.

There was no hot water, no reception, and hardly any staff. When you did find someone, they could easily be mistaken for labor staff. I paid 300 SAR, and it wasn’t worth even 50 sar. I left at 2 am and didn’t spend the night. This seems like a management issue, not the staff’s fault. Booking.com should check the place before listing such a « lodging » and share responsibility. I don’t understand how it ended up posted there.

Nothing was right. The kitchen and furniture smelled bad, and the living room AC didn’t work. The other room AC had no working thermostat or remote control, so you had to turn it on and off at the plug when it felt hot or cold. The electric kettle kept smelling and releasing rust, even after I washed it many times, so we stopped using it to heat water. They gave us no towels, just a small bar of soap. Pathetic service. We’ll never stay here again or recommend it to anyone.
