Dara Quraish

They welcomed us with Arabic coffee and dates, and the apartments were clean with friendly staff. You can call numbers for laundry pickup and delivery or groceries. Breakfast was very basic and could be better. After just one night, I had a lot of respect for the owners and management and the effort they put into standing out.

A great choice in central Jeddah if you're after a furnished one- or two-bedroom apartment. The staff are lovely, especially John. He'll look after you.

A great place, and the staff really go out of their way to make customers happy.

We stayed for five days and most of it was pleasant, but one late night a hotel worker unlocked our apartment and came inside. The sign on the door clearly showed it was occupied. Management said he'd made a mistake and gone into the wrong room, then offered us one night free to make up for it. Even with the rest of the stay being comfortable, I felt uneasy and unsafe after someone entered our private space without warning. The rooms were spacious, the bed and pillows were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, and the location was good. It was relatively clean, and there was a nice self-service snack shop on the ground floor. Noise was a real problem. The streets outside were loud, and we could hear people talking, laughing, moving furniture, and housekeeping from neighboring apartments. The TV was ancient and broken. We didn't complain because there were only a handful of channels and half of those didn't work either. To keep up in 2021, the hotel should have better entertainment, like a smart TV with Netflix or OSN. If you spend time in the room, it gets boring.
