Mira Suites Prince Sultan Road Jeddah

I come back to this hotel whenever I'm in Riyadh. It's in Olaya, with the best connectivity.

The hotel looked deserted, like we were the only guests, and nobody came to help with our luggage. One person was at reception and arranged our room while we waited. I looked around in the meantime, including the pool upstairs, which was dirty and green at the bottom. Based on the general appearance, I didn't wait to see the rooms. There was nothing to do and no food places nearby, so we left.

I was on a lower floor and the loud noise bothered me. The water boiler didn't work, and the shower was only lukewarm, not completely cold but not hot enough. One shower booth door was missing, so water covered the whole bathroom floor. I reported the floor's WiFi several times, but they never got it working.

For 269 SAR all inclusive per day, I got a dual room with a separate sitting area and bedroom, plus breakfast. The staff were courteous, and it's a good budget option that was okay for the price. The bathroom had a hot water provision, but it wasn't working. I didn't ask about it since it was peak summer and I didn't need hot water. Mosquitos made the last night painful.
