Prime Hotel - Jeddah Al Hamra

The buffet was the best part of my seven-day stay. There was plenty of variety, and every dish I tried was incredibly tasty. The staff were also super friendly and helpful, and the service was top-class. Everything was perfect for me. I’d highly recommend it.

After checking out, my family and I received a call from management accusing us of taking items from the rooms. The accusation was false and insulting. They couldn’t explain what was supposedly missing or offer any details or evidence, but kept making the claim without justification. Only after we asked to speak to the owner and demanded an explanation did their tone change. They apologized, called it a “misunderstanding,” and said nothing had actually happened. They should have apologized for our stay instead of contacting us with such an unfounded, degrading accusation. We had booked two rooms for two nights, hoping for a clean and comfortable stay. The rooms were shocking. The sheets had visible black paint stains, the kettle didn’t work, and repeated requests for a replacement went unanswered. The bathroom was worse: a broken toilet seat, a dirty shower, and foul-smelling towels that seemed not to have been washed properly. We asked several times for help and replacements, but no one came. I felt disgusted and uncomfortable using the facilities. Even getting proper cups was a problem. We asked specifically for glass cups, but were repeatedly given cartoon cups instead. It was a small request, yet it was handled in a dismissive and unprofessional way. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The poor cleanliness, disregard for basic service, and false accusation made the stay stressful and upsetting for my family and me. I strongly don’t recommend it to anyone who cares about cleanliness, respect, their family’s health, or basic hospitality. It left a very negative impression, and I will never return.

The hotel was calm and pleasant, and the location made it convenient to get around and visit nearby attractions. At breakfast, Mr Yousef, the manager, was very helpful. The staff were welcoming, professional, and ready to assist from the moment I arrived. My room was spacious, clean, and well maintained, and housekeeping was consistent and efficient. I enjoyed my stay and would happily choose this hotel again. I’d recommend it for comfort, cleanliness, and good service.
