Sama Furnished Appartments

The main problem was how the hotel handled a pair of hiking pants I accidentally left behind after checkout. At first, the front desk said they couldn't help and that I had to contact them by email through Ctrip. A few days later, they said the pants had been found. I came back to Jeddah on the 23rd to pick them up, but after more than an hour of two staff members searching, they said they couldn't find them. Four days after that, the hotel again confirmed they had the pants, but said they could only send them by international courier. They gave me no sender details and expected me to arrange and pay for shipping myself. The whole process was slow, contradictory, and very unprofessional. I stayed for three nights, and this is the first time I've ever left a bad review. The hotel is very old, with outdated room facilities. The air conditioner hummed loudly the whole time and made it impossible to sleep properly. Cleanliness was mediocre at best. The linens were changed daily, but they were clearly old and worn. The service was shockingly incompetent, alongside the poor cleanliness and dated facilities. I absolutely wouldn't recommend staying here. Avoid it.
