Taj Al Worood Hotel

The family suite was great, and the hotel is simple but clean and very good value. Staff were friendly and ready to help. The kids even got lollies whenever they played in the lobby. Thanks for a lovely stay, we'd happily return to Jeddah :)

The rooms are spacious, there's adequate parking, and the AC is quiet and works well. Room cleanliness has improved. Noise is still a serious problem, though. Neighbours kept shouting in the hallway all night, with kids playing there late, and it felt very disruptive and disrespectful. Management or security don't seem to control it, and even the cleaners were loud. The walls are thin. We raised similar concerns a couple of years ago, and the noise hasn't got better.

I had a few problems, but the very helpful staff sorted them out within minutes. I'd recommend staying here.

The hotel and its location looked nothing like the pictures on Agoda and other sites, which I found misleading. The high price made the poor service even harder to accept. I didn't mind that reception spoke only Arabic, but their manner felt more like being at a police station than a hotel. Being repeatedly told to wait there or sit here was frustrating. We were paying guests, yet the staff came across as rude and dismissive. My express check-in still took 35 minutes, and reception seemed relaxed about the delay. As a traveler from the UK used to Dubai's standards, I expected more. I wouldn't recommend this place to international travelers. Rude, ignorant service is unacceptable, especially at these prices.
